If you ever want to talk yourself out of buying something, read the 1 and 2 star reviews on something. Worked for me here. Smilie

I bought these last time. I use them for work on my laptop and they work really well. The one comment I had back from some people was that sometimes the microphone almost stounded like it was on a speaker phone.

The headphones sound great for an office environment though. Music sounds good, tv/movies sound good.

Definitely worth the 40 i spent on it last time. I went and physically looked at the high end Sony and the Bose and couldn't justify 200+ for those when ihave to put them in my backpack and have the possibility they might break. For 40 dollars, I can risk it.

Have these. They're really good. My wife has the bose active nc unit and honestly it's about the same. These are noisy if you're moving around a lot but I use them mainly for traveling.

Thanks, Fakespot is my go to with Amazon lately. REALLY wish they'd address the nonsense they have allowed to flourish on their site. It amazes me how much crap people are buying, then flaunting "It had a BILLION 5 star ratings."

No. It's been this price for at least the past two months. The last thread's code still worked this week. I just don't know how this deal has gone from negative to positive deal.

I figure if they took the time create/pay for fake reviews I'm sure they can do the same with Slickdeals till it becomes Frontpage probably.

I had Bose NC headphones for several years...and loved them. They still work, but do not work as well as when new. Based upon a past SD deal, I then purchased a pair of Monoprice headphones, which work nearly as well as the Bose, and have actually held up a bit better. Last month, I could not pass up a pair of these E7's for $38. So far, so good. Construction wise, they do not appear as robust as the Bose or Monoprice, but they do offer reasonable sound rendition and extraneous noise attenuation. We use our headphones primarily for travelling (and some noisy work), while also listening to music. I consider these E7"s an OK noise cancelling headphone, but still a good value.

Got these a month ago to replace an aging set of on-ear noise cancelling headphones. Primarily use for air travel. The sound is decent and the NC is good, the over ear helps with both of those. The quality isn't great, the chrome parts are super shiny, and the travel bag is pretty much worthless, but you get what you pay for. Also, the ear cups aren't very big so if you have larger ears they may get a little scrunched to fit in. We'll see how long they last, but so far so good and worth $40.

The sound quality on these is garbage. Bought a pair on similar last last month and returned it. Ear cups are small, "chrome" get smudged, but really the sound quality is quite poor. Mono price has an option for <$100 that sounds much better.

Right? Wish it was illegal since it's borderline fraud.
