Wow that is a killer price for this sound bar. I think I paid $120 and for $120 it is an unbelievable value. It certainly isn't surround, but in a small area, it aptly fills up the room with sound and it's good clean sound.

Is this completely wireless (besides the power cord of course)? I.e. does the speakers & subwoofer need to be hard-wired, and can it wirelessly receive streaming music from Alexa/HomeMini?
How can you connect the TV to this?

I would think that this can take input from any wireless device since its a smartcast. Alexa etc should be fine with Bluetooth too.

Can you elaborate on this? I have this and want to be able to turn it on/off, cast, without having to touch the remote

I dont think this has smartcast. There is no HDMI/Arc. Just optical.

In the past I have been able to control the soundbar with a universal remote when connected via optical. If you are using optical, it won't work with a Fios/Time Warner/ etc remote

How does this compare with the SB3651 deal? https://slickdeals.net/f/10832623-vizio-smartcast-36-5-1-wireless-soundbar-system-sb3651-e6-149-99-costco-free-s-h?v=1&src=SiteSearch

I'm not that savvy on sound bars at all so I'd appreciate any advice.

This is a smartcast Soundbar. I have used the coax input and I do not see why the optical input would not let you program your remote. My xfinity remote was easily programmed. I was only able to program the up and down volume buttons as well as mute. I hope this helps.

the deal here is just the soundbar and sub, the other deal comes with surround speakers as well (with an additional speaker in the soundbar too)

So I have a vizio smartcast tv (2017 M series). While I haven't tried pairing it to my alexa, I can turn the tv on, play/pause/forward/volume control from my phone from anywhere in the house. I assume it still be same for this device since its also essentially vizio smartcast.

Will you get costco return + warranty if you do this?
