Obviously the OP must have put in a lower price at first which I am not seeing. But how does this laptop stack up at $1,300 especially when you can get a 4 year warranty by using the Costco Visa?

I think this is the best price so far for a 8th generation processor w/16 RAM (which is not upgradable) and 512 SSD. Not a bad deal.

Costco has an Asus one, i7 8550u 16g 512g mx150, for $999...

The Asus laptop hard drive is SATA, not PCIe, which makes it much slower.

Yep, but that doesn't justify a $300 difference. $100 at most. Also Asus has MX150 while this Dell doesn't.
