I don't know what Samsung was thinking with this stand. The thing cause's like a 15" depth from what I've read.

Do me a favor and go to your local best buy or similar, and compare samsung QLED panels.

Technically it's still TN. It will help the color gamut but not contrast.

I believe this monitor just got a firmware update that enables 48 - 144hz Freesync range.

Price is active now. Got it for $475 after the $25 off $250 coupon, that's before tax.
Thanks OP.

Just received this monitor, here's my review:

Pros:
The colors, holy shit. The colors are amazing, anyone who suggests QLED VA isn't as good as IPS is crazy -- it's better. As I mentioned earlier, go to best buy and compare Samsung QLED TVs for proof.

Cons:
- The stand - it takes up way too much space. Thinking about getting a VESA mount.
- DPI is kind of low. 1440p at 32" doesn't seem high enough for office use (video and gaming are fine). I'm thinking about returning and getting a 27" version of this.

Other:

I was a bit non-plussed with 144 Hz. It didn't make as much of a difference as people have suggested (coming from 75 Hz). YMMV of course, but I'd be happier with ~90 Hz at a higher DPI.

I have this monitor and I'm one of the unlucky ones which the monitor doesnt wake up from sleeping when hooked up to a PC. I had to get an extension for the main plug so i can replug it on my desk everytime the monitor goes to sleep. I was very impressed with the color and the features that I didnt return it

PC specs
7700k
Asus Strix z270
16gb ram
GTX 1080ti

I know this is old but try checking your displayport version setting matches what your video card supports. This solved a lot of my problems

I don't know where to check that but I have the latest video card you can buy on nvidia side. It should support everything.
