Acoustic Sound Design has two ELAC systems available on Amazon for significantly discounted pricing. If you're not familiar with the ELAC lines, Andrew Jones recently (2-3 years ago?) joined their team, and helped them design some incredible "budget" speakers. His Pioneer line has been a favorite of the SD audience forever.

Here are some reviews:

http://www.audioholics.com/tower-...ker-system
https://www.whathifi.com/elac/debut-b5/review
https://www.cnet.com/products/ela...f5/review/

As for the systems, first there is the ELAC 5.2 Debut System [amazon.com] available for $1299.

The system includes:
2x Debut F6 Tower
1x Debut C5 Center
2x Debut B5 Bookshelves
2x Bic PL-200 Subwoofer

According to CamelCamelCamel, the lowest historical price for all of these pieces combined is $1,870.

Also, they are offering a 7.2 Uni-Fi Slim Black System, including a Marantz SR7011 Receiver [amazon.com], for $3799.

This one includes:
2x FS-U5 Tower
1x CC-U5 Center
4x BS-U5 Bookshelves
2x BIC PL-200 II Subwoofer
1x Marantz SR7011 Receiver

According to Camel, the lowest historical price for all of these pieces combined is $5320.

I've pieced together a pretty similar set (different sub and smaller rears) as the debut... it's a solid system for the price. I don't think you'll find better in this price range.

Or if you want to upgrade your current.

I have the Andrew Jones Pioneer 5.2 system that I pieced together over time, pairing it with an AVR-1131. It's great, but no Atmos. Also no 4K. So I've been looking at an SVS Atmos system for $1999. They never go on sale and, frankly, might not measure up to this Elac anyway at this price.

I was at the Rocky Mountain Audio Festival and CANJAM a month ago and heard the Debut and Uni-Fi systems, as well as their Adante. They all sounded more "honest" at their price ranges than others. I'd be proud to own any of them, especially these Uni-Fi's.

These are a great deal. I have the F6 for a 2.0 set up, and they are awesome. I still have the Andrew Jones Pioneer towers and in an A/B test, am still surprised how good the Pioneers sound. These Debut range sounds more airy and less dark sounding than the Pioneers.

I just bought an Emotiva 7.1 setup a few weeks ago and was between Emotiva and Elac. This sale would have swayed my decision but those BIC subs would have to go. They are the weak link.

The only issue I had with my elac's is that they put out so much bass (incredible actually) that I had serious issues with blending them with a sub. The AVR's crossover is not a brick wall, so even set to 80 or even 100hz, the elac's were still resonating well below that. That was seriously interfering with the sub output. When two speakers are overlapping, u can get back cancellation even with phase adjusted. All this was tested and confirmed with my cross spectrum labs umik1 and room EQ wizard.

Looks like a nice deal. I'm in the market for a new 5.1 system, but need something with a bit more WAF (compact footprint).

Have been saving up to replace my Polk rti speakers with LSiM. Anyone have any comparisons between the two. The price on these seem incredible and reviews seem very favorable for the speaker.

In 5.2 ELAC package you are getting 2 subs for $120 basically when compared to ELAC site. Normal price of that sub right now on amazon is $329.00.

Not sure how the subs are but seems like a great deal. Thanks OP!!

I think you're better off with the Emotiva. The only advantage the Elacs have will be lost once you cross over with a decent sub.
