It's... fine? It's big and heavy. The optical drive makes it even bigger, and no one really uses those anymore (even my desktop doesn't have one and I don't miss it).

I'd personally pass on this and buy something thinner, lighter, and just as powerful for the same money. This isn't slick.

I think this is a great desktop alternative and it's great of you're not carrying it around and about.

there are a lot better deals popping for cheaper than this -should have waited 1 day -- my bad

thanks for posting....need a 15.6 laptop for home office use, (need the 10key so smaller was out of the question) for i7, 256 ssd, 1920x1080, better graphic card, no tax, no shipping seemed like as good of a deal, other laptops I was seeing was 499 without SSD without Full HD, with other discreet graphics so this was a no-brainer

(sure there are opportunities for YMMV brickseek Walmart HP better deals)

hopefully wont kick myself come Friday/Monday

950M is pretty weak if you're gonna use this for gaming. I'd recommend at a minimum a non-Ti 1050 if you wanna play recent AAA games on low.

Boy what a blast from the (recent) past. Dat optical drive and gpu lol. Def a 2016 item but priced pretty close to the bevy of $650ish 1050ti gaming laptops. If you've got a hard $600 budget and don't need to game I guess this is right for you, good cpu, ssd is a plus.

Let me tell you a little trick to Slickdeals. ANYTHING posted by DJ3xclusive is a bad deal. Trust me, He is just a paid deal editor. He posts ADVERTISEMENTS, not deals. $600 for this 2 year old laptop isn't a good deal. If there was a way to ban deals from certain people, I would definitely ban him.

Crappy deal. 950m graphics card is so shitty... hard pass... If this is $450-500, you could consider it. $600 this is over priced junk.
