For $300 more, you can get the 900e - that one has local dimming - better for watching movies. The 800e is a great tv too - VA panel (high contrast) - read the review.

Best Buy has the 65" 900e right now for $1500 and will have the 55" 900e for $1000 for Black Friday.
I am in Oregon so no tax and you can use the 24 month financing as well if you have the BB credit card store or visa.

Thanks. Is the difference noticeable?

Does anybody know if the X850E series has a true 10-Bit color panel for real HDR playback?

The 900e is well worth the $300 increase.

I agree. I've seen both side by side at best buy and the 900 is noticeably better.

This or 900e?? Budget is not >1000. But I'm seeing 900e is better for 300 more. Can't decide.

I'm going to put in the loft which is brighter room especially summer.

Suggestions please.

Edit: or should I go with M65 @costco for $969 + tax? which has got full array LED backlight.
