My car doesn't have auxilliary jack. Will this work without it on a rechargeable battery?

No, you need the aux jack to connect this.

Thanks op, I was looking for one of these last night. You saved me about $14.

That silver piece comes off and you can plug a regular aux cord if that works better. It seems to come with a cord as well. My girlfriends BMW has the aux input in the armrest as well and I did this.

How long is the battery life? Would this work on a Nintendo Switch? I like my Bluetooth headphones, just wished the Switch had Bluetooth to connect with.

This is a receiver not a transmitter. You will need one of those if you want to transmit from the switch to your headphones. They are usually a little bit more money than this. However it will do exactly what you are talking about.

If it's like my girlfriends car, it sits in the arm rest under the cover, you have like 2 inches of clearance, so if you installed it like the pic it wouldn't be able to close.
