Pulled the trigger to buy this for my nephew for his Christmas Gift, it seems to be the lowest I've seen, mine came out to $25.05 after tax.

Included is also the Pikachu 3pk from the movie.

I just placed an order for Pokemon cards at Target and for the freebie it says:
"arrives in 5–8 days after qualifying item(s) ship or are picked up"

This and every other X/Y variant is just $1 at Dollar Tree. Every DT in my area has boxes of these packs sitting around. I typically pick up 40 packs or so at a time and just reward my kids with a few here and there. If your kids need the energy cards (I don't even know what the hell they're called -- resource cards??) buy them on eBay in bulk for dirt cheap.

I just ordered the box by itself and it was included in the cart, not completely sure how it is determined, either by cart before discount or after the tax.

Also the deal just died, its out of stock now.

Your Dollar Tree has packs of Pokemon cards? What area do you live in?

As a competitive Pokemon player, I advise you buy singles either from online or at your local card store. A lot of times parents and kids alike will be disappointed by packs because the chances of getting the ultra rare cards -- let alone the ultra rares that are actually good in decks -- is pretty slim. You might buy this box with 8 packs and get one ultra rare that's worth $3-5. That said, this is a good deal for those who just enjoy Pokemon merchandise and want things like dice, poison/burner counters, and energy cards.

These are pretty common but seldom will have rare cards in them.
