They have 2 free checking accounts. The Clear choice checking is only available to those in select states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, NM, TX. The Clear connect checking is available nationwide. It is also free but there is a 3 dollar a month charge for paper statements. You can avoid this charge by opting into paperless billing.
You can fund the account with a credit card up to 5k but only Visa is accepted. Also there have been many reports of these coding as cash advances and or the funding failing if you try to do too much. These accounts have been frozen and its a PITA to get them unfrozen.
