Also $199 at Crutchfield. If you have enough Discover cash back in your account you can get 20% off dropping price to $160.

Not sure what you mean, 20% if you have cashback?! Cashback is cashback what does that have to do with 20% discount?

Discover sells discounted gift cards when you use your Discover cashback to buy them. Discover cashback can be used to buy Crutchfield gift cards at a 20% discount. I just bought a $700 subwoofer for $560 by doing this.

Its not difficult to accumulate large amounts of cashback in your account by applying for a "Discover it" card where they double your cashback over the first year. Every quarter they have 5% promotions up to $75 back. If you participate in each of those and get cashback doubled that's $600 in cashback you can accumulate from that promotion alone. There are also many other cashback opportunities if you do a lot of online shopping. I ended up with $900 cashback at the end of my first year.

Gotcha - I did have $95 cashback from Amazon purchases recently but I just applied it to my account to pay a balance. Frown Thanks
In my case I bought the Elac's 3 days ago for $250 but I just got $50 refund from Amazon by calling them.

Now just need to decide if I should keep my Onkyo 656 from Best Buy I bought a week ago for $250.

Let go of Onkyo. Pair better amps with B6. These B6s are no slouch.

Onkyo makes great amps. The only problem with any amplifier is if it does not have enough power for the job. As Julian Hirsch, who reviewed receivers and amps for Stereo Review magazine for many years said, "a properly functioning amplifier has no sound of its own."

Just got my and hook it up right now just to see what the hype is about . imaging and staging is good but pretty cold and lifeless music. Will leave it playing continuously until i get back from work tomorrow.I will update to see if the the speakers opens up after breaking in. Meanwhile anyone have experience with how long it takes to break these in?
