I have done that (when they were .99) and it is a great deal. If you order them each individually and get slow shipping you can get no rush credits. Applause

The drawbacks:

It takes time to set up each button, its kind of a pain to do.

You have to do it by Dec 31, 2017 to get the credit. There is nothing in the official terms that indicate when the credits expire. Some have reported that chatting with amazon got them an answer, but I personally don't want to ask because I don't want a human to look at my account and see hundreds of dollars of dash credits on there.

You can only use one credit per order. So if I want to order 10 of something, I have to make 10 orders. If they are subscribe and save, I have to then cancel all 10 subscriptions. Kind of a pain.

They send each dash button individually in a padded envelope or box. Sometimes you may get lucky and get 2 or 3 together, but mostly 1 per envelope. It takes time to open them all and makes for a lot of trash and/or recycling to deal with. Between that and the button you only use once, it is very wasteful.

Are you being serious or do you not realize that no one is actually getting these to order the products.

Each dash button has a AAA Duracell battery that is worth harvesting after you use it and just before you toss it.

With a pair of vice grip pliers squeeze it just below the seam and it splits in half.

Then pop the new battery out and use else where.

Would it even let you purchase an additional one of the same ? Seems like would be counterintuitive .. haven't tried tho

Yes you can order ones you have ordered before. The 4.99 credit is tied to each button you buy. Its not locked to once per brand or anything

I think I've read before that you should be able to use these credits on items other than what is programmed for the button?

They work on anything sold and shipped by Amazon but they do not stack on top of one another.

Thank you for that update, I order enough from Amazon. So why would I not order one each of the 100s or so that are available at $2.49 each for a net of an extra $2.50 discount per future order?

Me too. Oh well, I'll still take a bunch of $2.50 discounts and $1 no rush credits.

Has anyone played around with the cart enough to see how many you have to order to get something other than the $1 digital credit?
