This is partial resurrection of the deal from a few days ago. It's no longer $349 but $748. Considering everything you get, that's still a pretty good deal. But...... I wonder if you can do a partial return. They break out each part of the bundle separately.

computer - $549
vr headset - $199

You don't want the headset, return it and keep the computer for $549.

Either one of those is a deal. If they don't let you break up the return, return them both and it's a wash.

Worth the gamble?

This doesn't seem good at all, they'd have to drop another $100 for me to jump on this

If they are taking your requests, just tell them to trade for a frozen burrito. That's better than gold once Russia takes over.

Pretty good for a VR set if starting with nothing, and for the near future this $750 price would probably be my reference for minimum cost to get into PC VR (again if starting with nothing, although Mixed Reality seems to be making it possible for most PCs from the past couple years viable for even a basic VR experience with just the addition of the headset, vs. a likely gpu upgrade to get Oculus or Vive to work).

$300 for next closest VR (Lenovo Explorer)
$250 for the rx 580 (assuming 4GB)
$150 for the 1400
$100 maybe for the mobo + 8GB 2400 RAM
$100 for case + power supply + 1 TB HDD

And that doesn't count the price of Windows 10 plus the build and setup labor.
