...Yes, legacy does generally refer to the old stuff, not the new stuff. nod

I just started collecting when blu ray became popular. Never had a DVD or a prior format.
How does the Physical Media community deal with a Newer format when it comes to market. Like we know many of our existing titles will get a real 4k treatment with HDR or a fake 4k treatment but with HDR.

I'd rather buy Spiderman and Spiderman 2 and save the money.

It's a UV code but MA eligible so it will port over to iTunes. You can redeem directly on MA to get 4K iTunes (if movie is available) or on UV to get 4K UV but not both.

Typically start by moving forward with the 4K UHD for newer releases. Then slowly pick and choose to upgrade (from bluray) only your favorite movies. Go from there.

I feel for those who have invested in thousands of bluray... They keep tellin themselves bluray is good enough. 4K is not a large enough upgrade. They are getting old and cant tell the difference anyway. blah blah.

4K and higher is the future. Prices are dropping dramatically. Upgrading is inevitable.

Only when they stop making dvds and Blu ray, or when I can afford a 4k oled tv.
