This is slightly better than the deal from Microcenter as there is no tax imposed.

Here are the benchmark comparisons of anyone is interested. They are similar in performance to Samsung 850 EVO. May be slightly slower.

Way too expensive. Better off with the 500GB EVO that was posted recently.

Problem with promo code. Contact customer service.... Maybe they maxed out on promo use?

I miss mSATA. All my Thinkpads support them. Wish they still had deals for these things too.

I'm assuming the 500GB EVO you're referring to costs more than this SSD. If all I need is 256GB, it doesn't make sense for me to pay more for space I'll never use.

This looks to be a reasonable deal for a well regarded brand name.

Thanks for this. I was about to pull the trigger without the code when I saw it dropped to $89.99. Total comes to $66.99 with Amex $10 cash back w/ $75 Newegg purchase.

Not if you live in Jersey where Newegg charges full tax, and Microcenter in Patterson charges half tax.
