Kind of extraordinary that the prices haven't really come down on the large SSDs, especially with the supposed glut of TLC. I picked up my 1TB Mushkin Reactor (an MLC-based drive) in Jan 2016 from Jet for $178.64 - $249.99 for the SSD, with $5.50 for no returns, $35.85 for the first purchase promo, $30 off $200 from Amex. I've never been able to replicate anything close to it since, ever. Astonishing.

And of course, I've been in the market for another 1TB or better yet a 2TB since.

Weird thing is I bought this drive refurbished from
Crucial (was like new) for $190 in 2014. Guess prices have stabilized (and increased)? Should add it's been going fast and strong for 3 years. Def recommend.
