You guys think this will be any cheaper on Black Friday? Lowest I've seen since I've been looking the past few weeks. Might just order a couple now

Which adapter?

The camera looks identical so I'm guessing it's just a firmware switch or maybe the functionality is there off the bat? I saw a couple reviews but no one seemed to think to try plugging it up to a PoE port to see what happens. That would be sweet if it "just works" and still has the WiFi functionality if so desired. The flexibility would be really nice.

They had the official PoE model on a lightning deal for about $20 more than this one later in the evening but I decided to wait and see how this one pans out.

Something like these, would have to make sure the correct connectors but have read something similar will work. I believe I have seen a exact one with the same size input connecter on the camera end with 5 volts but don't remember for sure which one.

this one looks like the exact one I have seen used, just would need to verify the connecter size going into the camera.
hope this helps.

Thank you very much! I wasn't aware a product like this even existed. That looks like a pretty easy method to get it working. AmCrest even makes one with different tips you can switch out for a few bucks more. Appreciate the info.
