Pretty solid do-it-all lens for the Eos M series. Between this and a 22mm prime you can get some pretty darn good photos without carrying too much weight. Comes with a hood, which is somewhat unusual for Canon non-L lenses.

Good deal on this lens, normally ~$500 new.

Bought one. Just FYI the lens hood that comes free with this is on back-order.

Would this lens be compatible with the eos t6i? T6i claims EF and EF-S lens but this is EF-M.

I think it will only work with EFM (where M is for mirroless). Not sure if there are mounts/adapters for converting this lens to fit an EF/EFS.
