So, I know the B7P is a little more expensive than the 65" B7A deals going on (about $200, i think), but does having the square trade warranty from Costco for the B7P outweigh the cheaper cost of the B7A deals going on?

For me, I don't need Dolby atmos and I won't be using the built-in speakers since I have a sound system I'll be using, so I think all I'll be paying for is the additional warranty coverage and ease of return from having a Costco nearby.

Anyone's thoughts on this deal?

i think it is a very good deal. The model 65B7A is selling everywhere around $2,300 but withour extra 3 years warranty. Therefore this costco deal is awesome. i just ordered one

If there is a problem with the TV, does Costco come pick it up for return/exchange?

I don't have a car big enough for this TV in case there is an issue with it.

Thanks

My Costco had $2,650 in store. I showed them their website and they said they don't match their own website

No.

You can buy the same ST warranty on the B7A for $89, and apply it to the B7A that Beach sells for $2099

https://www.costco.com/SquareTrad...50743.html

So spending $250 more for an $89 warranty doesn't make much sense.

Costco does give you 1 extra year of warranty before ST kicks in... but if you're buying with any decent credit card you already get 1 extra year from them- and if you buy with a Citi card you get 2 extra years.

Meaning your options are:

Beach deal- $2189 net price- B7A and 6 years warranty (with citi card)

Costco deal- $2349 PLUS tax for B7P and 7 years warranty (with citi card)

$160 plus tax on 2349...in order to get a 7th year of warranty on a set that'll be way outdated in 7 years, doesn't seem slick to me.

YMMV.

I have a question about the receipt. Is it possible to price match the costco deal? I am asking because it seems that you may risk the possibility of price much due to the bundle Costco offers.

Well this CC one includes sling with hbo x6 mths. That is worth $20+$15 x 6 mths ($210). Also there's a 2 yr warranty + free 3 yr square trade warranty. CC has 90 day return policy too. I'd rather get it at Costco.

No, don't think Costco has a service for that... You'd probably have to rent a truck.

Thanks, but my question was about an exchange or return process. I don't want to deal with hauling this TV back to store for an exchange in case there is a problem with it.

Unfortunately not. I spoke with them this morning. They're doing the 2296 price for now. However, no tax in most areas and free shipping.m
