There is only m.2 so everything else has to go external. I just went 1tb m.2 but got it for free. Mine runs win10 and is solely for my full size arcade

You need to buy (up to 32GB DDR4) RAM an SSD (will take up to 2 m.2 SSDs) as well a license for Windows. I love this form factor, a little tempted but will probably just upgrade my laptop instead.

Note, this is 6th gen so cant use intel optane for thise interests. You need 7th gen for that

Was probably thinking about the regular NUC's, they have m.2 and room for another hd also.

the target user of this device is a Linux user.

Linux needs no license.
