I've got the slightly smaller version from Costco from a few years ago.

It's good for the price.

It's not going to keep Danny Ocean and his gang out of your stuff if he really wants to get in- but you'd need to spend more than anything inside of it is worth to accomplish that- and I have homeowners insurance for a reason.


For the 99% of reasons you actually need a safe (keeping out kids and nosy guests, and deterring the vast majority of thieves who are just there to smash, grab, and get out before police response) it'll work just as well as the $5000 safes someone will be along in a few minutes to insist you need.


Some tips though-

Bolt it down so it can't be tipped over.

Put it in a corner such that you can't use a pry bar on the door.

No matter how big a safe you get, you'll end up running out of room Smilie
