The built-in WiFi Garage Door Opener allows you to control you garage door right from the Craftsman garage door app. The DieHard battery backup is great for when the power goes out. This offer is part of Sear's Black Friday deals. - Discombobulated

This Sears BF deal is available now. This is an excellent price for a 1HP opener, with wifi accessories, and battery backup!

Combine with Sears' CASH coupon code to get $30 back in SYWR, or add some filler to get to $200 and get back $40 in SYWR with the CASH coupon code. Unfortunately points do not roll with CASH, so if you redeem points on this you won't get the bonuses either.

You might have other surprise points in your account to further discount this.

I added a comment to the generic BF post, but posted new because of the extra CASH points back and also available sooner, so more people see this improved version of the regular deal!

I bought two of these units back in June when it was on sale for this price. I recently bought a house with a 2-car garage. Only the left side had an opener and it was a 12 year old Genie screw drive model. It failed shortly after I closed on the house. This was my first time ever installing a garage door opener. It took me about 5 hours for the first, as I took my time following the instructions very carefully. The second unit only took me about 2 hours to install. They're very quiet! The actual garage door itself is louder. I can't hear the garage door open/close while inside my house. To be fair, the Genie screw drive opener was pretty quiet too, but this is even quieter. The battery backup came in handy when Tropical Depression Irma temporarily cut power to my street as I was pulling into my garage. I thought the Internet gateway was a silly feature at first, as it's faster to click the remote hanging off your car visor than it is to pull up the smartphone app. But it's great peace of mind when you're away and can't remember if you closed the garage door. Anyway, I've been using this opener multiple times a day for the last 5 months and I haven't had any issues so far. I would buy again.

Are there any deals for remote controls? I need to buy two remotes, old ones are working but I need to stick one to the wall in garage inside door and another on the side entrance. I found a few but $35/each sounds very steep.

This won't really be used every day, found something like this https://www.homedepot.com/p/SkyLi.../301981476

I'm holding out for the 1.25 hp model. I should have purchased it last week when they offered me $70 in points.

Any other deals on openers this BF? Need two, but 1/2hp is fine since they're just going to be single wide insulated 8' doors.

How much for install? I have an older Craftman belt opener. Do you know if it would use the same brackets or will everything need to be changed? Thanks.

Sears has the 1/2 hp openers for $99 I think. I need battery backup and have an 18ft wood door.

I changed one out last year and used the same mounts. The mount for the rail was the same too.

I actually have this opener on my current house that I'm selling. The wall mounted opener is different and I need the battery backup feature. It goes on sale for the same price as this model a few times every year. I bought it for $124 after points the last time I got it. My new house has an 18ft wide wood door.

Had mine go out a couple years back due to an electrical surge during an ice storm. This will be an upgrade. I'm in!
