We recently got two of these sets without the gate for our twin boys. The set is pretty good sized for one kid. We took two panels out of the second set, and turned the main play area into a huge square.

However, taking the panels apart routinely isn't very easy. Our almost four year old likes to go inside and play with her bothers, meaning she has to be lifted in or out every time. Returning one set and getting this for the convenience.

The set we stole two panels out of (meaning it only has four panels now) we use for blocking off the stairs in our lower living room. As it wouldn't be good for much else as set manufacturer only suggest adding, at most, two additional panels to a set, and the entire sets of six panels cost only marginally more than the price of two individual panels.

We have one of these and it worked well for us to keep our curious crawling baby away from the Christmas tree, although it did take a little away from the look of the tree 😞

No free shipping from Toys r Us?
I am so tempted, but I already have 6 panels. I use 3 of those to keep the little ones away from my printer, scanner, & supplies.

This works well as a baby octagon, where babies fight to the death for glory. ignore that it's actually a hexagon... That's just math propaganda.

Fun(?) Fact(!) The Octagon is actually tradmarked by the UFC. Other MMA leagues use Hexgons, or have to license the Octagon from the UFC. I assume we could start a baby fighting league to be a feeder arm to the UFC.
