You pay 30% less and;
get 10% less performance, only 10% of the time...
And get double the performance for the rest...

no brainer really...

This is it. I'm gonna replace my 6700k with a Ryzen.

I got sold on Ryzen after dropping the 1800x to $300 + that mobo/case/PSU deal for $90. Intel scrambled all over the place this year and screwed everyone over with chipset changes.

I'll gladly pay 30%+ less for 10% less performance on rare occasions.

Tempting! Holding off until next set comes out then I will decide between Ryzen v2 or Coffee Lake (or whatever is the next one)

Great deal for anyone who lives near a micro center. I picked up a 1700 (non x) for $269 from them back in august with the $30 off mobo deal, and thought that was a steal.

$230 if you buy it with a mobo bundle, PLUS pick up only for this price.
Given its lackluster branches... ANYWHERE, I'll pass.
Not really a good deal, unless you're about 30 minutes away from a branch.
I think it's already $230 but you could get it for $200 if you bundle

Will Micro center ever become an online presence? Why do they miss out on all the sales they could make?

Really, I'll try the site again. It's bogged down right now.

They're really getting desperate to move these mediocre CPUs, new deal every few hours featuring one. Sales must be pretty bad if they're putting this many of these on sale.
I know Right? They gave up on the Intel cpu's & they can't even give those shit away. It sucks to be blue.

Tax ruins this deal, makes it 249$ The 270$ at newegg is cheaper if you use the Groupon 2x100$ since 200$ one is sold out. Then using the 5%off mobile coupon saves you another 14ish dollars. So ends up being 236 on newegg shipped. While this is pickup only.

231 if you create another Groupon account and buy the 50$ newegg gift card.

You're half-right (after finally getting through the site). It sticks to $230 without the need for the bundle, but it doesn't get any lower if mobo is added..

NE1 know if newegg or amazon might price-match microcenter?
