Exact same deal they offered earlier a week or two ago when the ad was released. I bought two of these monitors and love them. I picked these monitors over others on Slickdeals because they have a VESA mount. I use them for work related activities.

Does anyone know if this is a glossy screen or a matte screen?

Great price and great chance to have dual monitors that are identical.

That looks good. I don't have any personal experience with that monitor, but I'd only caution you about having a good enough gpu to handle 4k gaming.

i've got decent pc specs : i7 6700k gtx970 16gb ram 1tb ssd. got a UW 25601080 29" LG monitor but was tempted to buy that samsung one because it does 4k res.

Nice. Sounds like a good setup already but hey if you can afford the 4k screen go for it. My gaming budget just happens to be much lower so I set my own bar lower to match. I have a gtx 760 on one rig, a 1050 ti in another. They max all the crappy games I play on my 1080p screen

Yup I'm debating between the two as well.

The Dell requires a separate VESA mlunt adapter if you're looking into that. If you go that route, it's about $130 per monitor.

Difference is that the Dell is IPS panel I believe. Though the Acer looks cleaner.

Appreciate the response. Just checked Dell one has 75Hz resolution with 6 ms response time and while Acer has 60 HZ resolution and 4 ms response time.

Nice! Debating of getting either now with it being 27" and only 1080p and thus low number of pixels per inch.
