I had them adjust a toddler coat with no problems about 2 weeks out a few days ago.

Wooden ones definitely nicer but we have had this one for 4 years and kids play with it every day. It's pretty basic in comparison but because it comes with the plates, cookware, spoons, etc our kids love it. I haven't wished we got a nicer one in the time we've had it.

I have this set and it's very solid and strong. The edges are smooth and safe for kids. If you need Kohl's cash, this is a good deal

I've never actually shopped at Kohl's, but I get Kohl's cash pretty often, can it be used on these sort of purchases? Does it void the free shipping?

Same as you. I also can't decide between kidkraft and step2. After doing some research, I will go with step 2 because it has more lights and sounds and more look like a "toy". It also depends on whether you have girl or boy and depends on your kid personality. My 1 year old son is very laid back and he loves vtech toys with lots of lights and sounds. He doesn't like any pretend play toy such as fisher price little people toys yet. I don't think he will be interested in kidkraft kitchen because it is basically just have a few sounds, not entertain enough. Kidkraft looks nicer but my purpose for kitchen toy is not "DECORATING" the house, I want my baby boy is interested in playing with it. I don't think he is interested in playing with a "BIG WOOD". On the other hand, I think older girls would prefer kidkraft because girls tend to have better imagination in pre-play than boys in general. That's why girls like barbies!

You get up to 14 days after purchase. You should be good to get that assuming it isn't on clearance.

This would be great w/the Step2 Cottage SD if bought for 2 (or more) age-appropriate children... IMO. And I've seen both boys and girls of various ages enjoy both.

Thanks. Was looking for a kitchen set for my 1 year old. This one looks like it would keep him busy opening and closing things.
