These switches automatically turn lights on when you enter a space and off when you leave. Its XCT Sensing Technology detects fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, and do not turn off inadvertently. With ambient light detection, you can customize your sensor to detect daylight so lights don't turn on with enough natural light in your room. Compatible with most bulb types. - Randy71

The real reason it's on sale is because 2017 National Electrical Code prohibited this type of installation (using hot and ground wire to complete a circuit). The current-carrying wire should be neutral conductor, not equipment grounding conductor. Check the new 404.22 – Electronic Lighting Control Switches in 2017 NEC code book. This type of switch will not be allowed when your state adopts 2017 NEC. It introduces a safety hazard.

The dimmer two pack is also a good deal at $33.74.

Lutron DVWCL-153PH-2-WH Diva 150-Watt Single Pole/3-Way LED/CFL Dimmer with Wallplate (2 Pack), White

I bought it at $40 a couple weeks back from Home Depot. Do they price match after the fact?

Is this a 3 way? Meaning can you have one at top of staircase and one at bottom? Or is this just a regular

Single pole means only one switch. You need a three way switch for your application

No: "For use in single-pole applications"

FYI, we bought 4 of these last time and one would not turn off quicker than 5 minutes, it's really annoying but I'm too lazy to dig it out to return.

That's a phenomenal deal, will order a few. Just paid $30 at HD for a single pack, way too expensive.

Damm, I need a "OPS5MH-WH" or the 3 way version of this.

I have two (2) three way switches in a hall way. Someone on amazon posted a way to have one of these on each end.

My house doesn't have neutrals in the wiring so there are only so most of these illuminated and motion activated switches don't work.

Thanks... getting one for the laundry room. My wife always leaves the light on.

Already have one for my son's room. Works well.

Does it not get activated when he moves around in bed before falling asleep.

I bought a couple as well. Do you mean one of your switches was faulty or you just didn't adjust it? You can adjust the auto-off timer to 15 sec (test mode), 1 min, 5 min, 15 min or 30 min.

Yeah I know how to set that. In fact I set all other switches to 1m, but this one refuses to remember the setting.

Edit: I think I may have misunderstood "test mode"
