The small handle on the opposite side of the handle to help hold take out of oven. I have no comment on quality

The 12" has an assist handle... the others don't (and don't really need it). Good heavyweight pans. The surface is a bit rougher than Lodge (which isn't exactly smooth either). Decently non-stick right out of the box and improves with age.

Still not as good as OLD cast iron (which was cast with a much smoother surface).

Personally I would go with the Lodge or anything made in the USA. Nothing made of cast iron from China is in my kitchen.

You never know what else in the cast iron. Lead, Mercury, among other things have been found in various Chinese made cast iron pots and pans.

Edit: also items made in Europe are pretty solid.

I probably need worry more about my head. But rampant Satan spawns moved, pray not! I have bad aim anyway. She'd look great with this pan! I got bad aim and she shoots though!
