Great price considering these have been in short supply. I think stock is just now starting to catch up. The step up to 8700k still is rare and about 40-50$ above MSRP sadly.

Great price, been looking to even find any stock and then this prices shows up in stock. Was able to price match to B&H Photo to avoid taxes in PA which made it even $15 sweeter. Thanks!

Interesting. I asked the guy and he said what the website said which was currently 3-5 days as they were already on the way. I'd cancel for sure if what you say is true as most of my system will be here right after cyber monday / black friday deal shopping.

Originally when I ordered last week with them, they said the 3-7 business day was accurate. Today I asked for an update on the order and he said January 8th 2018 was the expected arrival date. He said the manufacturer gave them that new date today.

I believe the next set of chips will require a new board with a new chipset. Seems like a dead end road.

So you think the 370 chipset will only be used for Coffee Lake and nothing else?

Turns out that to play back 4K content, you'll need some hefty specs, to the tune of one of Intel's latest Core i5 or Core i7 Kaby Lake processors, a minimum 6GB of RAM, and a 4K capable HDMI2.0a port. That's of course in addition to a similarly HDMI2.0a-equipped 4K monitor to actually output the content on.

So kaby lake can but the latest and greatest cant?

Another article I saw on TT also made no mention of regular Coffee Lake being compatible. CL is likely just a stopgap option. CL-S is the next one in 2018.
