Cannot replicate deal. This may be for early BF access for Best Buy Early Black Friday Access for Elite Members. That's my guess anyway as it does not show up this price for me.

I got this about 2 weeks ago when BB had a decent sale on it, and I've just started getting into it a bit. Game is fun, but you seem to lose a lot of progress when you die. I guess maybe that's the point. Wish the actual game was more clear about how progression works. Gonna watch some YT tutorials before getting back into it.

This is a great game but the lack of updates kills it. 26 different endings but only 4 main endings with little to no post game content

Yeah, this might be my GotY, but the "26 endings" thing is overstating it. The game has about 4 actual endings; the rest are jokes and/or unique 'game over' screens, essentially. Don't expect something like Chrono Trigger.

Can you briefly explain how the progression works? I did two runs maybe 40-45 minutes each and got to a boss that was two big machines. Both times it killed me first, so it ran the credits and I had to start from the beginning.

That sounds like just the opening level. Once you pass it, the game opens up. You'll get to an 'ending', and then the game restarts with you playing from a different perspective. You'll play up to where you got before, and the story progresses beyond that. The 'actual' ending has 2 variants, based on a choice.

All of the other endings are like what you saw -- a line or two of text, sometimes silly, and a quick credit roll.

Okay, that makes sense. I wish they would've done a better tutorial in the beginning of the game. I put it down a few days because I wanted to figure out why I was having to restart. Thanks for sharing.
