If Android Pay wasn't blocked then I'd be all over this.

From Verizon: "While the watch supports NFC functionality, Android Pay isn't available at this time. However, it is scheduled to be added in a future software update." I wouldn't have too much faith Verizon will actually enable it. Ever. Speaker quality is terrible, and no heart rate sensor. Saying all that, pretty awesome price.

Yeah. Considering the watch isn't sold anymore, I wouldn't bank on any future updates.

Considering this is basically a "Sold as is" device, a smart watch with Android Wear 2.0 for $129.99 isn't bad...

The silicone strap is crappy. It's perfectly functional, yet it cheapens the entire experience. Worse, you can't swap it out for a different strap. (Instead of standard pins, the strap is secured to the watch with custom screws and a contoured shape where it adjoins the chassis.) Verizon says the strap was designed this way because it contains the LTE antennas.

The LG Watchs (Sport and Style) were supposed to be released on Verizon. There was some sort of disagreement between LG and Verizon and ironically the Wear24 came out days afterwards IIRC.

The LG Watches would have been a half decent option

I'm not surprised MANY disagree with Verizon! Smilie

Is it worth for even half if no updates in future?

It definitely is android wear 2.0, you just need to run the update when you get it. So far it's working great for me. I added it to my Verizon plan for $5 and it makes and receives calls, texts, emails, stream Google Music, tracks my route while running, even browse the web and access Youtube without my phone. I disable LTE and use the Bluetooth connectivity to my phone when I'm in range and the battery lasts the day, but if you're using a lot of LTE you'll drain the battery quickly. I did a phone call test and it drains about 1% each minute so about 100 minutes total talk time per charge. That sounds low, but compared to the Apple watch it's actually high, since that will only do 60 min on a charge. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to get Hangouts and Google Maps navigation working. I see YouTube videos of both of them working, but they were older versions. Maybe the newer versions removed those features?
