Is the series 1 really worth getting anymore?

Hard to say if it's worth it, but having an Apple Watch, in general, is worth every penny. It has changed my life.

The series one comes in 3 generations. 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The 2nd has a dual-core processor, and the 3rd has 8gb of storage.
I have no idea why they call it series 1 still or what generation this one is.
Unless I have been miseducated, I have never heard of what you're talking about. Any links to back up this information? I'm genuinely intrigued.

I made a mistake, but you inspired me to research further where I found the answer. Peace

For $100 savings in comparison to the series 3 it definitely is still worth it. This is series 1 (not the original Apple Watch). Apple currently sells this and the most recent s3 in stores so retail for this specific listing is $249 / $279 respectively. Main differences between the update are - faster processor, waterproofing & GPS

Just think what life would be like with a watch that gets more than 1 day battery life

It seems that the $180 price is pretty standard on BF at multiple retailers, the lowest is probably Frys at $178. I wish the Series 2 is still on sale, missed today's deal at Kohl's where you can get a 42mm Series 2 for $299 plus $75 KC.

Apple watch 3 at kohls ( 42mm) = 359 - cash back sites (23) - 105 kohls cash = 231 ... hard to justify buying series 1 for 229 .. although u have to spend an additional $105 in form of kohls cash .. i think no brainer to go for Kohls deal.

Lol - exactly! I was most unimpressed with having to charge mine every night (thus, making sleep tracking useless) that I returned mine after 4 days.

Realistically, Most people only need the capabilities of the series 1. GPS or LTE in the series 2 or 3 are things people "think" they need but majority will not fully use.
