Yup, I got in on that deal over the summer. This pricing seems to be a step down

That was the only good deal, this one is not, that lens is worth at least $300 making the body $500. I think better deals on this model will come in future especially from adorama and BH as they are trying clear stocks to make room for the new model.

I just got the 800 deal and debating returnin. Photos are very nice but high ISO performance s OK, video is awful. I havent update the firmware, do you know if it makes a substantial difference for video?

Been used many brands and this is my favorite camera. I like the classic style. I got $799 last time with free 35mm so good

Read reviews next time homeboy. Fuji video sucks universally in favor of beautiful stills

$649 I wouldn't call a great deal when you have deals like the X-T20 appreciation bundle or the previous 35mm + X-T1 deal. The sensor alone puts the X-T20 leaps and bounds ahead even when you factor in the smaller, less "pro"-built body than the X-T1 and X-T2. If I was forced, I'd spend the extra $150 on the X-T20 at retail ($799), the image quality jump is worth it.

Yeah, Fuji had made it very clear in the past that video performance was not important to them or their targeted customers. I'm curious how high you are considering high ISO. My xe1 and x100t perform really well until you pass 3200 with jpegs but raws are completely usable pass 6400. I haven't looked for any firmware updates but Fuji seemed to have catered the jpeg engine to the Asian market that prefers VERY smooth skin tones at high ISO. The only way around it that I know of is to shoot raw. This thread covers it but its a bit dated. https://www.dpreview.com/forums/t...t-54746253
