Alcatel phones suck. Loaded with bugs. With no updates or support.

All these AT&T prepaid phones are useless now that you can't unlock them immediately

Been using an Idol 3 for about 8 months. Not the same phone, but same brand. Never had to deal with customer service, knock on wood, but this phone has been decent.

Pretty sure most people on SD use prepaid carriers like Cricket. Not sure if ATT prepaid phones are compatible out of the box with Cricket since they're both on ATT towers though.

Make sure you are careful when plugging and unplugging charger. My wife's started only charging with certain cords and then nothing worked. I've never had that problem with any phone I've ever had. She had it a little over a year. Now, she was charging it a couple times a day.

AH! Wait, totally forgot. When I first got the phone the prongs of the charger literally clonked out. It will not work with others chargers. They sent me a replacement and it's fine, but yeah. It was weird.

If the battery's removable, you can use a universal charger - slow, but flexible. I got a FreedomPop hotspot a few years ago that came with a non-responsive battery - wouldn't charge at all. As a last ditch effort before returning it, I put it on a charger like this & it revived it - thing's been taking a charge normally ever since.

If you need it quick use the Amazon link (~$9), otherwise get it for $2-3 on eBay.

eBay (seems to be a pretty reliable seller with a very high # of sales & 99%+ "positive" rating): https://m.ebay.com/itm/Adjustable...Ciid%253A1

It's not removable and it appears to be the port. Certain cables work at certain angles. Too lazy to fix it. I bought her the honor 6x the other day. She's good now.

cpu is too slow even for $20. I am surprised that it has 2gb memory with 7.0 though. Better wait for BF to see if there is a better deal.

....it's a 20 dollar phone, I would expect everyone who purchases this fun to recognize what you stated comes along with the price tag. Doesnt change that its a good value for those in need of a device on a budget.
