This ("6 hour charge") and the costco eneloop deal are for slower chargers. (<500mA)

The below deal on the Fujitsu has only 4 AA batteries, but is the fast charger.

The eneloop charger is superior. It will charge individually.

The Costco deal is much better. The charger included in this kit is crap - its a timed charger that charges in pairs (very often you it will be over-charging the cells). Personally, I'd pay 5 bucks more to get a nice charger that isn't harsh on the batteries. With the Fujitsu charger, I really doubt if you would get the advertised 2100 cycles out of those batteries. Not sure why Fujitsu would include such a crappy charger to go with really nice batteries.

Agreed. I suppose for me this deal is better because I already have a Lacrosse and the Panasonic charger, I don't need the charger. A timed charger or group charger is always crap, although I don't see a problem with the fast charger just because it's charging faster than the slow poke panasonic. That one only puts out like 500 mah, it's hardly "frying" the batteries. I charge mine at 500 mah and they aren't even getting hot, that's 1/4 C, hardly pushing it. I have junk name batteries 10 years old that still work- and they were charged at 500 mah too.

The charger that fried batteries was that 20 minute charge product (I wonder why it isn't here anymore?)......I looked at the specifics on the back and the charger was putting out 4200 MAH!! MeltDown.
