Hi guys I did some research on these a few months ago. Still haven't purchased one, but there is a big difference in durability. If you are doing action sports the ~$200-300 price tag is justified for a unit that won't break the first time you fall.

wondering if this might be a good option to put on a a self stick to reach out the back of a pickup truck and record a car driving behind it for some action shots......opinions?

Love mine. Just make sure you get a sturdy grip for it, it'll add a good amount of weight to the camera.

I got one of these for $99 last month and tried using it for mountain biking on a chest mount. It doesn't come back to center quick enough on sharp turns. If your wanting it for that or any other action sports, I'd pass on this one.

Can anyone confirm if the Feiyu one is better than this one? It seems to have a wireless control option that this one does not.
