$989 on their website; "BLACKFRIDAY" coupon takes 5% off $1,000.

I added $9 headset (HyperX Cloud Drone Gaming Headset), 6$ keyboard (CyberPowerPC RGB 7 Color Premium Gaming Keyboard), and $9 mouse (ASUS ROG Sica Black 5000 DPI Compact Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse) for a total of $962.35 in checkout. (Can be dropped about $10 if you only get total to $1000 for coupon). Also, you get a free $50 AMEX gift card and the freebies (Free CyberPowerPC Mystery Loot Chest featuring Aporia: Beyond the Valley and More)

Overall, for $962.35 before tax I get this laptop, 50$ gift card, the loot chest, $45 value mouse, the keyboard, and the $39 value headset. Looks like a good deal to me, thinking about purchasing.

It needs to be over $999 for the coupon to apply; you need to add 10$ of stuff.

Afraid not. Could add a 1TB for +$65 making your total to $1001.

Graphics card is billed as vr ready but this only has one usb 3.0. Any way to add extra ports to a laptop without using a splitter?

Reviews are saying the SSD isn't NVMe as stated.
Is anyone familiar with Cyberpower's return policy?

Where are you seeing the reviews? This deal seems new and has 0 reviews. The laptops are custom built for whatever you select. Should be legit

Looked it up at Amazon, same specs as default. Could just be that one...

Is it typical for a gaming laptop not to have an optical drive nowadays? I really like this one except for that, I guess more and more games are purchased online, but still I would use this for work as well and need to read CD/DVDs

Yeah, I can't remember the last time I used an optical drive. Especially since you can boot from USB drives nowadays.

You don't need usb 3.0 for a Vive. I run it from USB 2.0.
