I didn't just dislike the feel of the old cotton/poly blends of yesteryear, I literally couldn't wear even the 75/25 fabrics because I sweat like a horse at the least sign of warmth/humidity, and except during the middle of Winter, those older fabrics invariably made me feel like I was sitting in a sauna wearing a heavy plastic bag. But these new breathable/wicking, totally-synthetic poly blends are actually great stuff. They breathe at least as well as 100% cotton of similar weight, and better yet, they dry off much faster than cotton. And the hand is surprisingly soft. Not quite as nice/soft as a good cotton fabric, but at least for casual shirts, I find them very comfortable. "Different", but comfortable... They also hold their shape well, don't stretch out during the day like cotton knits tend to, and also don't usually permanently shrink even if you're not particularly careful when you wash and dry them. They do tend to look a little shiny, but it's more of a "sheen" when light hits them at (only) a certain angle rather than than the overt shininess of, say, 1980s track suits and cheap polyester "dress" clothes Wink so, again at least for casual shirts, it's not off-putting...

I have a few of these that I bought at Target. They are comfortable and fit great. I'll snag a couple here for $5.50. Thanks OP.

2nd to this, I am an active sweaty guy and hate cotton shirts, strictly where polyester shirts nowadays and have not looked back.In for 4 colors for 1-2 month shipping, never a bad time to order some shirts for 5.50

Still there for me (black), but saying "usually ships within 1 to 2 months"

I picked up two with no rush shipping. Est delivery Dec 15th to January something or another. Knowing Amazon, they'll probably show up tomorrow.
