I love my Porter Cable. the ratcheting chuck is nicer than the normal hand tighten keyless chuck.

Any idea how this compares to the non-fuel Milwaukee M12 line?

These would be more comparable to the Ryobi line. Milwaukee is a pro line. Porter is diy level.

I don't know much about drills. Should I get these or the Bosch CLPK22-120 12-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Drill/Driver & Impact Driver Kit posted yesterday for the same price?

As someone who doesn't keep up with power tools, which is the drill/driver to get in the $100-150 slickdeals range?

If you can swing a Ridgid set from Home Depot, I'd go with that. Lifetime warranty on batteries (I've had my batteries replaced using this).

Just FYI on the angle grinder, I think I picked that same one up around Prime Day for $14ish; so 21.99 isn't the lowest it's been.

I'd love a 40v 7424XP, but I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon. Frown

I had Ridgid 18v tools and they're great tools. The battery warranty was my original motivation for getting them; but I eventually migrated away from Ridgid toward DeWALT. I did it for a few reasons, but one of the main ones being that Home Depot is the only place to get Ridgid, so they basically control the pricing. With DeWALT, so many different places sell it that your chances of catching a promo are exponential. I don't think I've ever purchased a DeWALT cordless tool at the same retailer twice. I just go wherever the promo is; and battery promo's are plentiful. I can't even tell you how many free batteries I've gotten in promo deals; I recently ended up selling two FlexVolt 6Ah's and two 20v 6Ah's on eBay because I just had way more batteries than I would ever need. Just something to keep in mind when going with a cordless brand, not something I originally considered.

Porter Cable set is OK for a home owner but their warranty is garbage. If don't trust me read Lowe's reviews (Lowe's is P-C's main seller) on P-C 20V tools or Amazon's reviews that involve warranty repairs on these. Don't overload it and you should be OK because if you do and it dies after 1 year it would be "normal wear and tear" for any problem and your local repair center will deny your warranty claim.
As of quality compare it to Harbor Freight Bauer drill and driver, they are made on the same factory people say. Bauer is $55/drill, Hercules (more or less DeWalt analog) is $99. Check YouTube battle of Hercules (DeWalt) killing Bauer (Porter-Cable) in no time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3WB-EwdJnM
For $100 with 5% cashback it is a good price but I'd go with DeWalt or Milwaukee for $150 if had a chance
