Is there somewhere a list for the ones with heat pipes?

Yeah, these aren't great. The one from yesterday, the 6gb, also had this poor heat sink.

The EVGA 3gb SC model does have a nice heat sink with heat pipes, but also have Hynix memory, which isn't that great for overclocking.

But still, this is a nice deal.

Don't have to worry about memory, because games arn't sensitive to memory overclocks..

also, all of these budget cards have low vrm counts anyway, so overclocking will work fine when its new, but overtime, it'll poop out on the budget cards..

On the ghetto side here, we're just looking for heat pipe @ ~$150..

This is pretty close.. https://slickdeals.net/f/10869699-asus-dual-gtx-1060-3gb-192-bit-gddr5-graphics-card-157-99-with-coupon-and-after-20-rebate?v=1&src=SiteSearch

But, imho, since we're already almost there black friday, we should wait it out. no reason to jump the gun..

How would this compare to my GTX 770 4GB PNY OC?

Oh boy, these days, 3 GB of VRAM is the equivalent of going with a single-core CPU for gaming.

Just stick with the 770 at lower settings and use the next couple months to save up for the 2018 GPUs with GDDR6.

Honestly,
I'm already running everything at high/medium-high, 1080p, average 60fps. Not really feeling any necessity to upgrade, aside from materialism.

I've been waiting for a 1080ti/1080/1070ti to hit a real nice price point. You think the 2018 cards will be that much of a leap?
