Good deal. I got the 3gb plan off Amazon for 255.00 and loving it so far. I probably could have gotten by with this plan and saved a little.

Good deal. For those wondering, this comes out to $15.42 per month, which is similar to MintSIM's $15/month price. The advantage with Red Pocket is that you get to pick the Big 4 network that works best for you.

I have a question to Red Pocket staff here: You mentioned that international calling is available. Does this mean that we can place unlimited international calls too (let's say 2000 minutes) ? I am planning to disconnect Vonage World service.

So anyone thinks any of the higher tier data plans will go on sale?

Would you need to activate this within a certain amount of time?

I think Red Pocket says you have a year or so. I have activated a few months after purchase with no problem.

I get them on sale and use the activation code as a renewal...cheaper than buying an actual renewal plan from them.

I don't think you can switch service providers during the 12-month period. Please check their website.

Yeah, I've tested MintSIM (TMo) for the better part of a year now & am planning on upgrading to their top data plan when renewal comes around. Getting a similar deal with the option to use Verizon or AT&T would be sweet!

MintSIM's been good enough that I wouldn't jump much higher, but the option of a stronger network for not much more would definitely be tempting.

FWIW Red Pocket has poor reviews on Amazon, and very little press coverage that doesn't come off as paid publicity.

Is this a good price relative to last year BF? Also are there any eBay coupons to lower this further?
