What does everyone think about this TV? I hate how Best Buy has No HDR listed in the specs, but on Samsung's website it says it does. Also looking at the 60in Sharp TV for $550 https://www.bestbuy.com/site/shar...Id=5987501

Also, I really hate that Best Buy has these exclusive TVs that are so hard to find reviews on. Annoying!

I went ahead and bought this. There isn't a better deal on a 65 inch with a better rating than 7.3 on rtings. The next best deal I could find was $950 for the M series Vizio at Vizio's website but I don't want to spend that much.

Frys will have it for $699 but they put the tv up early for the $749 price today and it was already sold out at my local frys when I looked at 6am.

This specific Samsung isn't listed on rtings because it's a silly Best Buy exclusive, and I'm not sure which 6 series model it correlates with. The Vizio I posted earlier also has a 7.3, which has 4 HDMI inputs (as opposed to the Sammy's 2), and still has a composite input. I'm just not sold either way...

I ordered for local pick up which gives me another 9 days to decide whether I want this or not!

Thanks for the deal.

From my research and still learning:

1) 4k is now basic, make sure its true 4K HDCP 2.2 or higher connection ports.

2) OLED + HDR is what you want.

3) HDR most times supports HDR10 as default but you may also want Dolby Vision HDR support for higher quality HDR.

4) LG B7 OLED is the best currently and LG has been making OLED for several yrs compared to other brands.

It has faux HDR called HDR PRO. It can receive the HDR signal, but it is not capable of producing the wide color gamut nor the brightness for true HDR. This is according to rtings.com which gives the HDR a 6.8 rating.

It's not technically and there are some differences like inputs. You can check on the Samsung website its's listed.

However, even rtings matches this with the 6300 on their website. This is what they have to say about this tv under their Black Friday Section:
Samsung UN65MU6070FXZA (65") and UN50MU6070FXZA (50") for $749.99 and $399.99 at BestBuy. It is equivalent to the Samsung MU6300.

According to : http://www.rtings.com/tv/deals

Samsung UN65MU6070FXZA (65") and UN50MU6070FXZA (50") for $749.99 and $399.99 at BestBuy. It is equivalent to the Samsung MU6300.

Thanks a bunch, this was on my list for BF and I'm not a B&M kinda guy. I have the 55" KU6300 which is the same as this tv. It is HDR, but without the color range it does not matter. IMO, if one is to the go the extra mile for real HDR, you would be foolish not to go OLED. For me it was this tv or drop 3X as much on a 65" b7a oled from LG. Lag is pretty good on this for gamers, went through RE7 on it when I first got it and was good picture quality.

To be clear, this TV doesn't support HDR10 or Dolby Vision. So no, it's not really an HDR tv.
