Buy two iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus and get up to $699.99 rebate from T-Mobile

I was at my local Costco and saw the t-mobile deal. The sales agent said if I buy two phones (referring to 8 plus 256GB) , I get the price of one back even though the flyer says up to $700 back.

Deal requires adding new line and ends tomorrow at Costco

The fact that all these deals require adding a new line kills it for me. Are people adding a line and then removing it later?

That's what most people seem to be doing. They add the line, wait for all rebates to come in and then remove it, along with any additional features they needed for the promotion.

Also, for like the 100th time - repost. In fact, even with the same damn title....

Only if you don't have valuable promos attached to your account, otherwise cancelling lines will cancel your promo.

So I could add the new line and then cancel my old line without promos attached?

If you already have two lines on that plan, then no. That plan is purposely set up with a max of two lines, so you can't get cheap lines for all the grand kids.

I called Tmobile its up to 699 in the rebate, so it would not cover the full price of the 256 gb model. (if you bought two of the 256gb iphone 8plus, you would get a rebate for 699 and not for 949)

Can I sign up for a new line that costs like $5-10 a month or I have to signup for the mobile ONE plan?

lol Yeah. It's always like that. The free model is usually the base, and not the upgraded version. You only can finance 700-720 of it anyways, and the rest would be down payment lol.

Yes sir. Someone said you could buy one get one on the 256gb plus model, I was giving the heads up that it wouldn't pay for the full amount.

Depends on the promo. Many free line promos lose eligibility when a paid line is removed. I'm sure this is probably to ensure that customers don't add new free lines, and siphon out their older paid lines and eventually have all free lines. laugh out loudlaugh out loud

Hahahahaha. I had a sales guy tell me the same thing. Moral of the story, never believe the sales guy. Wink.

Ok why is this "deal" getting so many thumbs down? Wife and I have 2 "ancient"
phones (iphones 5s and 6s plus). We have been with At&t for 10 years but $200/month is insane.

I went to AT&T and then quote me for 2 lines $171 without a hotspot and $195 with hotspot,

TMobile: $130 with a hotspot.

I want to switch and save $70/month. With the BOGO offer today, we could get out of the store with 2 new iphone 8 plus. Why is this a bad deal?

Also, I just paid my monthly charges with AT&T for the month. Does anyone know if I transfer my numbers to TMobile do they pay ATT the difference? Does ATT refund me what I didn't use for the month? Or am I out of luck? (I just paid my monthly yesterday... I feel that I just wasted another $200 if I switch today to TMobile).

Thanks all
