Newegg has Amcrest IP3M-943B Outdoor 3MP WiFi IP IP67 Weatherproof Bullet Security Camera on sale for $69.99 thru Saturday.

$99.99 on Amazon, there is a promotion to get 1 for $79.99 from a specific seller, so this is still $10 better and there doesn't appear to be a limit as Newegg lets me add whatever quantity.

Add 3 to your cart and pair this with the Masterpass $25 off $200 promo Newegg is running for BF to get 3 for $184.97 - that's only $61.66 each.

Super Eggsaver 4-7 day shipping is FREE.

FYI - this is cheaper than buying from Chinese vendors the Dahua OEM version of this. ( which do not include the AC power adapters )

Have more details on that I can add to the write up for comparison? Not familiar with Dahua...though some searching I find this which is strikingly similar: http://www.dahuasecurity.com/en/u...p?pid=1294

Hi p4madeus,

Yes, that is basically the same camera. US market model Dahua.

There also are international models - model number is different, but otherwise same iirc.

Do check out the Q-see links on the master list, vendor Costco $80 each right now.
So with a $25 off 250 you can get 3 for $215 + taxes

The links are full of info from the last time they went on sale.

Any idea which one is better, this or the Q-See from Costco? Thx.

Hi Adodb,

The hardware is basically the same.

So my take on this is that both options are good now that we've ( thanks to the great people here on SDs and at ipcamtalk ) better documented what it takes to get the Qsee up.

Amcrest may have better customer service,
Costco has awesome return policies.

Your choice.

BTW - if you are looking for IP PoE systems.. do take a look at the Lorex BF deals, I've just done a comparison with the 4K kits, and they are looking very good. Believe the same will apply to the 2K/4MP kits also.

Hi Ek9cv5,

If you can run wiring in the attic, I recommend getting a PoE camera and running Cat6.

you can also use a PoE splitter with these cameras and use cat6 to carry both the power can data.

For more info on wiring please see the wiki here

FYI - reolink hardware is not considered as good as Dahua OEM or Hikvision OEM hardware.
