A good deal got even better at $123.89.

Same price at B&H: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/pr...50_ti.html

Yes, 1050ti is best card that doesn't require extra 6 or 8 pin power connectors from the PSU (runs right off the the PCIE slot)

Oh I thought 1060 was ever so slightly better than 980. I'm not trolling, just uneducated. Thanks for the info though.

Zotac cards don't have 0 db mode, they always run at 20% minimum fan speed due to the 2 pin header...so meh.
Uhhhh, I'm not sure if you're saying just for this 1050 or not. But I have a zotac 1070 and it runs with no fans on

Is this the best card that does not require extra power?

Would this be a decent upgrade to a hd7870 in a 3570k setup ?

No, it's pretty close..

but the 7870 doesn't play 4k hevc files, so you might want it for that.

The Zotac 1060, 1050Ti and 1050 are the cards that have this issue of not having pwm fan control, and don't go below 45% fan speed so there are noise issues for quiet builds.
