I used to complain when cases didn't have 5.25 bays now I can't stand them Smilie Sharp looking case maybe add a fan controller in the 5.25 bay would look good.

Note on the color: It's hard to determine how green this is, but the windowed version of it appears on Amazon with higher resolution images [amazon.com] and a Youtube video [youtube.com] may show the color more clearly.

One of the reasons I am interested in this case is because it has one, but I rarely use my BD writer (ripping my movies and writing backups for the safe). If I couldn't find one with a 5.25 I would just get a USB external bay for it.

I have seen some pretty slick HUDs for water cooling or fan control that would look good in the bay, and they make it look subtle enough with the filler plate that it doesn't look bad with nothing there.

Nice case, for the most part. But I could not fit 240mm rad on top, it was hitting RAM and heatsinks, placing fans sandwiched did not work either.
PLASTIC WINDOW - scratches :-) Placing rad on the front was a problem too as this DVD bay was in the way

Old people like them so they can put in a CD and listen to music.

They claim this case can fit a 280mm rad and fans on top - how thick was your rad and fans?

Edit: This reddit thread [reddit.com] has some good info about the top radiator - you must have had some tall ram? The case is wide enough (the back fan is 140mm) that it should sit nicely above the MB unless you have some outrageous RAM. I hope that's the case, anyway, because I have a Kraken x62 on order.

Average ram size, but rad was hitting 8 connector sticking out and a tall heatsink on the mobo as I remember. It is possible to get it there, but not the best fit

I love this case for it's awesome cable management. It was the best PC building experience I've ever had.

I had no problem installing a corsair h100i v2 240mm, with lots of room to spare.

Do you really need a 5.25 bay?
