These were on clearance for $299 or less recently in store only, but this is the lowest delivered price I have seen on this grill, $317.27 delivered (plus tax if applicable).

The Pit Boss 700 Series offers the best value per square inch in the pellet grill industry. The 700FB has been perfectly designed to be as versatile as it is practical. With 700 sq. inches of cast-iron cooking surface including a second tier rack, the 700 Series is perfect for a group of four to six. These 8-in-1 grills range in cooking temperature from 180 degrees to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Select your preferred cooking styles with the digital control board and standard flame broiler. Set it and forget it, or slide the plate and sear it over an open flame. No need for natural gas or propane — our wood pellet fuel produces an exceptional taste and is made of 100 percent Natural Hardwood Pellets. With heavy gauge steel components, complete structural strength and durability, these high-value grills are meant to last. Grill, smoke, bake, roast, sear, braise, barbeque or char-grill to perfection with the Pit Boss 700 Series.

I had my eyes set on a traeger but is the cost savings for this unit worth me picking this up instead? Want something that is reliable and worth free. I know some Komodo eggs legs rot versus green eggs. Welcome comments

I don't have this. I have the Camp Chef. Really nice product. My personal smoking development was gas+chips ->MES electric smoker -> Pellet grill/smoker

Pellet stove by far the easiest and most predictable. You can still see a few Camp Chef's for $89: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inv...u=54189385

I'm thinking about getting this 71700fb, and it would be replacing our gas grill up at the campground where our rv stays full time. I already have a MES30 but thinking this could replace that as well. Would this pellet grill do a good enough job on burgers, steaks, and brats? Is it worth spending the extra money or should I just get another $100 - 150 cheap gas grill? I don't see this cheaper price anywhere near me, but a hardware store has it for around $350. Pull the trigger now or wait for some spring sales?

Can't speak to how well it does as a grill... But the price will definitely drop... $399 is MSRP and it go to $70 last year
