What's masterpass?

How would this handle daily usage for a student with frequent iTunes downloading etc?

You could buy the same system for much cheaper without the discrete graphics card and it would be just as good for their needs.

My laptop has an i7-6600hq and a 960m and it's virtually unplayable at the lowest settings.

This is exactly what I was looking for - something with decent specs for multitasking which won't break the bank. Thank you!

I dont recommend it. The gpu and cpu share the same heat pipes. This can caused it to throll it down to prevent overheating.

I don't need the big GPU either, would love the rest of the specs... for the $150 savings - are you saying you have a machine to compare it to with something like the rest of these specs, for $150 less?
