View First Unread?

Maybe I'm missing something easy, but I don't see any way to view first unread on the slickdeals android app on my Galaxy S7.

Is that really not possible?

I see that I can click that button on the right to go to the first unread, but is there any indication that the thread has unread messages? I wouldn't want to have to go into the thread only to find out there's nothing new in there. On mobile web version, that icon changes color, but in the Android app, I don't see any indicator.

That's kind of a large oversight, it seems. Guess I'll use the web still then.

Is there a way to sticky a thread in the app or the mobile web site? I don't see any way.
