I personally like TP-Link app better than Wemo app on Android. Never used apps on ios. Functionally they are about the same

Does anyone know if this supports energy monitoring? Newegg page [newegg.com] says it does but not seeing that information anywhere else - not even on manufacturer's site [tp-link.com].

Do you have the HS200? Can you please confirm if this supports energy monitoring through the Kasa App?
